Scoundrel

Scoundrel was designed by Ian Howlett and built by Paul Litton and launched in 1986 in the UK. She has since competed in various international competitions, coming 2nd in the 1998 Europeans in Cowes, UK; 4th in the 2008 Europeans in La Trinité sur Mer, France; 2nd in the 2009 World Championship; and 5th in the 2018 Europeans in La Trinité sur Mer, France.

Most notably in 2023, she was the World Champion sailing for the New York Yacht Club with sail number USA126. Scoundrel won the opening race and followed up with two 3rd place finishes, three 2nd place finishes, and a 7th. She retired from the last race. She scored a total of 20 points.
