Gairney

Gairney was built by W.Fife & Son in Fairlie for Lord Glentanar in 1922.

There are records of Lord Glentanar sailing Gairney in 1922 and 1923 in Cowes, where he was a new member of the Royal Yacht Squadron. He sold Gairney in 1924 to Claud A Allan and James Bryce Allan, the first owners of Sonoma.
