British American Cup, match two, first series, 1922

The British American Cup is a team sport, Britain and America each entering four yachts. The individual points for each team are combined for each race and accumulate accross the match. The Cup was raced by International Six Metre class yachts from its inaugural competition in 1921 until 1955. The competition was revived in 1974 though not for six metre yachts.

The first series consisted of four matches yearly from 1921 to 1924. Each match consisted of six races, apart from the final year which required a deciding seventh race.

The winner of a race was awarded 8 points, second place 7 points and so on.
