Noreg III

Noreg III was the last of the Johan Anker Six Metres and was built in Norway for a syndicate headed by Rolf Svinndal and also included Crown Prince Olav of Norway.

Whilst racing in the Seawanhaka Cup Race in the Firth of Clyde in August 1939, The Glasgow Herald noted that Noreg III’s “display of windward sailing was most impressive” (Source: The Glasgow Herald, 17 August 1939)

In 2024, Noreg III was recorded as being in the Netherlands in very good, restored, condition.
